A cigarette to calm his nerves. Does he feel nervous? Or is he just programmed to think that he is that way? Is it nervousness or just simple math?Could a machine think? Could a machine feel emotions, or would it just appear that it does? Could it fall in love with another machine, or the two of them would be just programmed to fall in love?
Could a machine be conscious? Aware of his existence?
